I've been searching for a role model of late. A female role model. A role model who is driven by creativity and self-sufficiency and defying expectation to fulfill what she feels she has been put on this earth to fulfill. A role model just like Kelly Cutrone.



Ignore the references to reality television and Alexander McQueen dresses on the blurb. This book comes in candy-colours but is anything but sweet. I read this in hours, and by then end felt like there was somebody on my side who understood that maybe there might be something more important than marriage and babies and a cottage in the woods. I felt empowered and feminine and inspired and ready to take on the world. Kelly Cutrone, I salute you.
