THE PROMISE.
Live on purpose.
Promise yourself. Promise yourself you’ll try. Promise yourself you’ll conquer your kingdom.
Conquer being the fun-est, conquer being the alive-est, conquer being the verbose-est, and conquer being the ENGAGED WITH FUCKING LIFE-est you can possibly be. The basic stuff of the universe is a pure energy that is malleable to human intention, so don’t be a pussy: declare your intentions.

Pay attention. Follow your heart and heed the omens. If we are always looking for the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, we don’t see the brilliant glory of the sky. The best experiences are not when you find what you were looking for but when something quite different finds you, takes you by surprise, and shifts you into new territory.
Allow yourself the privilege of change.
Sometimes you have to be really bored before you can be really brilliant, but you must refuse to die whilst washing a teacup.
Find your tribe. You become like the people you spend your time with. In conversation we come away stronger, or we come away weaker. Choose your friends carefully. Build a support system of other people who are creating their dreams. Drink their courage. Face your fear head on and know that you are not alone.
Flip the middle finger bird at failure when you screw up. Because you will screw up: that’s what being brave is, making mistakes and carrying on regardless. Just because it ended when you became afraid doesn’t negate its importance.
Our brain isn’t something that dictates who we are from birth. It’s a cultural engine, whose function is to absorb new information from its surroundings and learn new skills and ideas and have thoughts and be sad and happy and mental and inspired. Take responsibility. Shoulder the burden of your own happiness and know that only you are the creation of your own destiny. Don’t believe that you are weak. All power is within you; you can do anything, and everything.
Curiosity did not kill the cat.
We have more than one self. Be loyal to them all.
Believeth all things. Hopeth all things. You do not know what good or bad you are capable of; you do not know what a body or mind can do in a given encounter, any given arrangement, any given combination. You know all of those things you’ve always wanted to do? You should go do them. Then you’ll find out what your values really are. Once you know your values it’s really hard not to make decisions. Find out who and what makes you happy, and do it.
Don’t only live. Be alive.
Learn everything you can from whomever you can. Everyone has something they can teach you.
Remember that it is easy to forget what it is like not to know.
If you aren’t getting the answer, you are asking the wrong question.
Live on purpose.
