I'm not a fashion blogger (obviously) - or even, really, "fashionable" (obviously again). I like clothes and how they make me feel, though. That a ripped jean matches my sassy-pants mood, or adding a blazer takes me into #GirlBoss maven. I understand the need for a good handbag and proper leather shoes as I approach 30, and am finally settling into an aesthetic that suits me. I've made a huge fuss to anyone who would listen about packing for my summer away with only hand luggage to my name, because my key skill keys include: accents, being really good at Sundays, and The Capsule Wardrobe. I'm not a hoarder - my belongings fit in six boxes, kept in my parents' garage - and moving around so much means I know what I need, and (more importantly) what I don't. ReplyDeleteCal- Ohmygod.
ReplyDeleteSteve- You can't use an exclamation point! What would the Americans say?
OMG OMG OMG Laura, you're right, OMG you are so funny OMG AWESOME

Ya know, this is what I love about you being in America: you mock them for all the ridiculous things they actually do! I love your suggestion too. I wonder if I could pull off a botoxed frog....
ReplyDeleteIt isn't just an American thing. Here it is cool...my son does it and he's old enough to know better-I've given up telling him jokes.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice day...aaaagheeeegoodgrief!
Rachel- I mock them because I love them. I want to live here forever.
ReplyDeleteMoannie- Smack your son upside the head for such ridiculous reactions to your jokes. Do it for me, and for America.
